On March 31st 2025, lo-fi indie pop singer mxmtoon played a lovely set at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. Embracing her bedroom pop roots, the stage was decked out in windows and a door frame. Opening for her was pop singer songwriter Katherine Li. She was elated to be back in her hometown and also noted the 3DS recording.
She performed tracks from her 2024 album "love, k" along with a fantastic cover of “The One That Got Away” by Katy Perry. As part of the Liminal Space tour, mxmtoon also previously brought along Luna Li and Juliet Ivy as openers.
Shortly after, mxmtoon jumped on stage to lively applause and shouts from the audience.
Energized by a dinner at Rodney's Oyster House from the night before, she started her set with "dramatic escape", "i hate texas" and the lockdown era song "prom dress". Later during her set, she did hyped up the crowd with fan favourite "mona lisa". Starting on April 16th, she'll be continuing the Liminal Space tour in Europe with support from bea and her business.
